The Park
St Anns Well Gardens is situated about half a mile from Hove seafront. It is well used and has a wide range of features; including a pond, sensory garden, tennis courts, bowls, playground, dog free and conservation areas.
The park is central and has offices, schools and nurseries all close by. This makes the park and the cafe a popular place to meet all year round.
The park was made public in 1908 and the bowling club was formed in 1925. The park gets its name from the 'chalybeate' (iron bearing) spring found in the park. The Café
The café changed hands to the present new management at the beginning of 2005 and has been received very well. With a complete refit of both structural and decorative work, the cafe is now a comfortable, welcoming meeting place.
The café has received several good reviews in the local press, mainly citing the varied menu and our child friendly atmosphere.
